At one point they replaced the final scene of an issue with a QR code, meaning that even though you bought and paid the actualy phyiscal copy of the comic, you didn't actually get the best pages, you would have to scan them with your smartphone and view them digitally, on a website which will probably be taken down in a few years

They did this to get comic readers interested in digital comics! Of course this had the complete opposite effect. I think if you were a saboteur, infiltrating comics and trying to destroy the industry from the inside out, you wouldn't even think up something this stupid
