You say that like you're slightly apologetic but there's no need. All the MGS games are good though ymmv with any individual title. 4 in particular is suffering from some historical revisionism but aside from the ending being a movie unto itself everyone liked it. I enjoyed the shit out of the PSP games although it was a little hard to go back to Portable Ops after Peace Walker. But they all have their unique merits
