The A-50 going west is under FPV and ATGM control, and from the center of Pokrovsk under physical Russian control.

Northern route is also under FPV and ATGM control (plus likely being actively raided by DRGs).
This leaves Ulitsa Olympiska (Olympic road/avenue, green) as the only way in and out which isn't guaranteed death.

I'm getting Bakhmut vibes.

>How many hohols are trapped there?
Really hard to say, but for this entire operation (possibly including Kostyantinovka) Russia has dedicated 100K soldiers, I'm guessing a heavy emphasis on logistics and drone operators.

I think in Myrnograd, Pokrovsk and the defensive lines we might talk about 10-20K, with surrounding towns like Rodynske, Rivne etc I think the total is 30K.

You can count the units from Theti maps and assume ~40% strengh.
So a Brigade would be ~800 etc, battalion maybe 100.
One thing that complicates the counting is that many regiments and brigades may send a single anemic battalion or even company to reinforce, while having the regiment represented there on a map.
Or they could fight with half the force (this is primarily true for mechanized units) and have the other half in reserve/on rotation.
But this is based on the Russian speed of advance and the size of the pocket.

At full strength we should be talking about 24 brigades or 48-192k soldiers.
Assuming 40% strength on the lower figure we get 19.2K (which I also think is reasonable, but perhaps on the low end).

About 50-70% of this would be inside Pokrovsk and Myrnograd.
