I was watching a Chinese period drama, and they brought up this guy named Fukuzawa Yukichi. I looked into his history and he wrote an editorial called "Datsu-A Ron". I wonder if Yukichi and Ronkichi were named after this guy. He was on the 10,000 yen note up until a year ago so he must've been pretty well-known.
