Make no mistake, women who are perpetually single meltdown in much more subtle ways but if you see it you realize they aren't doing so great a lot of em. Like they get neurotic as fuck especially as they get older.
I think I saw a metaphor once which describes it perfectly: male loneliness is like dehydration or starvation and female loneliness is like having a really strong craving that you can never satisfy. Being constantly starving would drive you mad but so would going your entire life craving one particular food but never even once getting it. But consider the difference in how you'd expect it to effect someone. The former is a more explosive sensation of intense desperation. The latter just gonna slowly rot away you sanity.
