This is of course a generalization, but it's still a worthwhile question.
Countries in (primarily western, but still) Europe seem extremely similar to each other in not only culture, but architecture and governance as well. Is this due to Christian influence? Or is it recency bias after the EU? Asia is of course much bigger, but even in East Asia they seemingly had more variance up until recently after globalization.
