King Rat update, He's been more defensive for sure but hasn't strike or bit me since last time. But he does S pose and stop flicking his tongue when I do anything inside of his enclosure. When I'm outside of it however he's super shy and likes to hid and if I pull him out he lets me handle him. Though he might growl is he get's angry but he does it rarely.
He's switched to Nocturnal as well, apparently in their natural habitat they will switch to nocturnal during summer and diurnal during winter so I'm doing something right at the very least for him to be displaying such behavior.
Last night he rattled his tail at me and It was pretty loud.
I fed him just now and he didn't like me watching him so he curled up into a ball moved to a hide so I couldn't watch him eat. I'm jealous of guys who have snakes especially King Cobras who will sit next to you and chomp down on food or even let you hand feed them.
Here he was checking out my fingers to see if he could eat them while he had a mouthful of dirt already.
