So I put a fast microSD into this 10 years old crap of mine and noticed that it's actually slower than my legit MS Pro-HG Duo (red one). It caps my 90 MB/s read / 50 MB/s write microSD at 14 MB/s both, while Sony's memstick works fine at 18 MB/s. Will I gain anything from replacing this crap with its modern single-slot alternatives? I'm not expecting the full 90/50 performance, but will I get at least half of this with a new adapter?
