unironically I think the fierce individualism that is driving modern society is the root of all the shitty behavior in games like deadlock. imagine if this type of game was invented at a time when society was in it's post scarcity era with people heavily conditioned to follow through with mutually beneficial teamwork in their daily lives. would we get feeders blaming their team, or would they realize their behavior was a net negative and self correct?
