My usecase? Having fun with a looooong beam. That's it, that's my usecase.
The only lights that I actually use are
>Sofirn BS01
Budget bike light that has an easily replaceable (21700) battery, decent lens and reflector architecture or whatever you call it so it doesn't blind oncoming traffic and uses Garmin mount that I have on my bike anyway so I can take the light with me if I leave the bike somewhere
>Warsun work light
It has a magnet and a hook and a clip and is water resistant and (presumably) 18650 battery. I use it while doing something around the house in places with low light.
>Noname $3 keychain light
For finding a keyhole on a bike lock. Has a tail magnet, which works great since my bike is steel if I need to find a valve to pump a tire in the dark.
>Olight Oclip
It just hangs by my bedside and is always in the red light mode so I wouldn't blind myself with white light if I need to find something in the middle of the night. Once I finally go back to hiking it will be clipped to the backpack strap.
