True, but Adept had three years to certify their plates. Militech has had since at least 2018. Longfri, Safelife, Stealth Armor Systems, have all gotten plenty of certs in that timeframe and they're all either Chinese or small-time operations. Hesco got a shitload of new models certified in that timeframe due to suspensions, lol.

I agree. He did play a role in exposing the 1189 and 1199 cheat rings to the masses, and it was his test of the 1192 that exposed the RMA ringer problem (10oz overweight plate, lol). However, the 1189 / 1199 problems were known prior to this by people who calculated areal densities and figured, given the materials of the plates and their construction, the given weights were impossible sans-cheat ring. Lightfighter and certain arfcom old heads were already onto them by 2016-2017, not to mention the #1145 and the older, apparently import plates (pre-2013).
>Highcom and others like American Blast
And yet he had to pull the blast plate (which IIRC failed straight up) because of a C&D. That plate is still being sold and is frankly dangerous. Same goes for the "can't drop me, but Buff said my backer's trash too on fnforum!" 4SAS4.
However, Buffman's credibility continues to tank when he makes posts like pic related glazing poor armor and making statements that he knows or should know are false. RMA was not upfront about the cheat rings, he knows that!
