So how did MJ suddenly come to this conclusion? Even though she's saying everything I want her to say, shutting him down, I struggle to justify this sudden heel turn. So they went to consoling after the kids ceased to exist, but that was about it. Did she realize that playing family, and by extension Jackpot, were both her in denial after coming home? Has this entire thing just been MJ lying to herself that her actions were understandable and not basically Stockholm syndrome? Because she's not having the breakdown she should be having, specifically admitting that she fucked up royally and did Peter wrong by not talking after coming home. Was it because she fears him loving him more than she loves him? Feels like we're long overdue for a conversation, or at least breaking down and fessing up to Venom since he's basically the only one she can really talk to right now.
