They don't care about making games, they care about controlling narratives. If they make their own games with this mindset then it will flop and die naturally. They need to hijack popular, already established media to change it from a position of power or find a way to gaslight communities in a way that warps the perception of what the community desires in order to influence the developers into changing the game(both cases will result in the game slowly declining and dying).
It's why you must gatekeep these kinds of people the moment you detect any kind of kumbaya communist rhetoric that masquerades itself as an enlightened centrist trying to open the community up to others while toning down existing culture. It's a trick to slowly destroy the culture while enabling bad actors to move in and subvert the perception. Eventually the community will not reflect the actual game content at all and the core fandom will have either completely disengaged with the community because it no longer appeals to them or have left entirely at which point the slow death of the game is inevitable(if devs are dumb enough to listen to subversives). Hoyo and Kuro have actually gotten really good at ignoring these types.
