HSR is in such a sorry state right now I have no idea why it's actually making as much money as it is.
>story is boring dogshit barely focused on what we've seen in the previous sections
>said story takes like 20 fucking hours to get through, this is such an issue that they added a skip button 3 years after release JUST because of how overly long and drawn out the story is right now
>insane powercreep, to the point where older characters actively need buffs to keep up
>said older characters are continually left in the dust to shill "next big thing", never getting any focus even if they were initially portrayed to have a significant focus on the plot
>new characters are either blatant rehashes of old characters from a game nobody fucking plays or characters so boring and one note that they're forgotten about immediately after the story shifts focus off them
>barely any QoL, you still have to at least watch your characters mindlessly farm for relics and other mats when there's literally no reason not to just let us automatically collect when using energy
>very few skins and the ones we did get are fucking terrible
To think I like this game a lot initially. If Kafka wasn't in it, I'd have dropped the game ages ago, but at this point I don't even know if she'll show up again for anything beyond a fucking cameo despite being one of the most popular characters in the game.
