why do you think i've been using modded hairs for fucking years
these people take 20 years to put out any new hairstyle, let alone one i even want to use, and then it looks like shit. often it even looks malformed on certain races, like that one ponytail that looked like dogshit on au ra but looked normal on cats and fiddies.
meanwhile in the modding community there's a new hair i want to try every fucking day and all of them look better than the shit we're getting from the studio that's being paid by all of us to make shit.
hell, even when they have the designs being made by other players for free, they take months to determine a winner, and then literal years to just have a staff member whip it up in blender and put it into the fucking game. and once it's there, it's ported so poorly that nobody even wants to use it. so it's not like they're taking their time to do it well or something. they're taking their time and it looks like shit.
