I just tested the lidar now, and it seems it only gives a measurement within 5mm of accuracy at 10cm of distance.
So it doesn't seem particularly useful, although it does seem consistently within a 5mm deviation. I'd have to figure out some way to test if it's always giving ±2mm meaning I could just average the results or at least a consistent direction of deviation. If so, it'd be something easily adjusted for with a calibration of some known distance beforehand

The main reason I want it is for an accurate way of measuring the butt, but since I'm only going to test the thighs for now it may not even be that useful
