honestly, maybe a dlc route adds a choice on the retsnom route where he decides to not meet up with Nozomi on day 8 after he decides to follow Sirei´s orders. That somehow leads to them not going to the library while everyone is giving him even more shit for having even less fighters than the regular retsnom route.

Maybe Takumi just attacks Ima or Gaku, or Sirei in rage and he gets exiled from the remaining students. Afterwards he and Darumi just camp out and survive in the ruins
