Personally, I'd rather rent a car and just drive through northern Spain. Maybe it would have been cool when I was 21? But now that I can afford shit, I'd rather stay at a nice Airbnb than in some dirty hiker hostel. I just did Andalusia last September and we stayed in some super nice Airbnbs for $100/night. I'm talking jacuzzi tubs, balconies with a view, full kitchens, washing machine, central locations. I'll trade fake spirituality for a room with an air conditioning any day of the week.
