>I am seriously thinking about doing it next spring.
what's your questions?

>El Camino trail
If you're even a little bit spiritual
it's absolutely worth it

don't skip on the french part though
if you have the time

many countries have special pilgrimage leave rules
where you can get (unpaid) time off and your employer can't deny it nor fire you over it
but again depends on the country, so check it

spring is a good time
from ~mid June it gets very uncomfortable hot

you should budget ~30€/day
maybe ~50€/day if you don't want to sleep in bunk bed / multi bed dorms
pack as light as you can

also a big part is meeting like mined people along the way
personally helped me a lot to get more comfortable being social
if you have hyper autismo, it's still cool, just be prepared that people are social

I think i would like an answer that realizes my question was also asking for details and feedback with quality of dining and markets

Personally, I'd rather rent a car and just drive through northern Spain. Maybe it would have been cool when I was 21? But now that I can afford shit, I'd rather stay at a nice Airbnb than in some dirty hiker hostel. I just did Andalusia last September and we stayed in some super nice Airbnbs for $100/night. I'm talking jacuzzi tubs, balconies with a view, full kitchens, washing machine, central locations. I'll trade fake spirituality for a room with an air conditioning any day of the week.

How hot do buildings stay at night that you'd feel A/C to be necessary?

>Can you elaborate on this ?
it kinda felt like a walk with god, hard to explain
not because it's hard
more like the setting, the other pilgrims, the churches along the way, the prayers

I meditated a lot in churches as well

>And was finding food easy?
super easy
at least the spanish part, which rarely "leaves civilization"

also depends a lot on your budget

>Markets and places to dine?
often restaurants have a
>menú del peregrino
which is a cheap (10-15€) multi course menu specifically for pilgrims
Spanish & French cafes have amazing pastries, omelets, sandwiches and of course coffee, typically ~5-8€

but you can just go to supermarkets and get something as well
still will taste great
that'll run you around ~10€/day
