They're not the worst at adding to the story. It's just their a big attractor to retard editors and writers who don't think beyond what if x combined with symbiote and leave it at that with no elaboration or development. It's just an issue one-off to them that they then either keep as a one-off clickbait thing or like what they're doing with All-New where it just turns into standard superhero fare.
