How wouldn't it? Did you forget that their parents were adventurers, too? It writes itself. A younger Finn and his [at the time] slightly older brother Jake being encouraged to go on smaller-scale adventures of their own, occasionally getting to take part in Joshua & Margaret's investigations as well. Jermaine would also be there, but he'd be the squeamish one trying to keep his bros out of trouble.

It's such an obvious route to take, yet I'm still worried Adam Muto and Nate Cash will miss the mark and make a straight-up Adventure Time reboot instead of one that could stick reasonably fit within the series chronology, even without needing to focus on lore too much.
