I used to have a grove of secret apples I found deep in the woods all huddled around a 350yr old stone wall. Probably leftovers from the old farm that burned down around 1740. Completely impassable, thick brush and thorns tearing at every angle, but I used to carry a stepladder out and harvest bags of them around August-Sept. Made great pies
