Spider-Man is the only one of the "big three" that is still 100% relatable to a modern society.
Superman is associated with a jingoistic personality and being the hokey superhero, and Wayne was created in a time when being wealthy actually was considered a sign of responsibility and he wasn't occasionally framed as a self-indulgent larper.
Being young, poor and idealistic? Still very relatable to almost every demographic. Shonen is still a massive genre because its protagonists are young underdogs much of the time, it has flourished whilst comics just sort of linger.
So, of course, we look at what's happened and it turns out Spider-Man has to be replaced with a black diversity hire, stuck with kids, cucked, or in some cases replaced by his wife.
It's fucking INSANE when you think about it.
