It references Ling Yi, a playable character in the Snowbreak beta. He was meant to be this sort of older experienced mentor to your rookie protagonist kinda deal but he had some mildly flirting lines with the girls so chinks complained and they took him out of the game before it came out.
Which is fine, the game always had this harem cast and one playable male character just didn't fit. But chinks are mentally ill and now anything with 01 sends them into a rage to the point they had to scrub the entire game from anything even unintentionally referencing it, like a scene where binary was displayed in a background screen.
