Depending on the type of ants, get some bait stations and place them around your house near where the ants keep going. They'll take it back to their nests and the queen will eventually get poisoned and killed. It may take a while but in time you'd wipe out the nests near your property. Insect spray that kills ants on contact is pointless, the queen will just quickly make replacements.
