Marvel's executives approach you. They agree that Miles fucking sucks and no one likes him in the comics, but they need to stick with him until at minimum 2027. However, if they do that, they get at best a minute net-negative on their returns. They want a profit. They've come to you, Miles' most outspoken critic, with an offer.
You get to write an ongoing comic run that lasts all the way to at earliest 2027 where you have nearly full creative control. You are allowed to do whatever you want with Miles with the following exceptions:
>He cannot be killed off or written out of the setting. He needs to be an active presence for brand synergy.
>He cannot be "defamed" so as to make him a black mark of writing, as that would still effectively be writing him out of the setting.
>He himself cannot be Miles'd by another minority - their DEI office is liquidating so you'd have no consultancy to prevent a media disaster.
>Peter cannot appear in more than an effective 20% of the overall content of the ongoing. He's a separate brand that needs to be advertised separately.
>You are only permitted a non-Spider crossover once every 10 issues which can only extend into one more issue at most, and if you do that, you will have to deal with the writer of whoever you crossover with getting two issues to do whatever THEY want with the character - and it'd be as permanent as whatever you do.
>While changes to identity (including hero name so long as he keeps the name "Miles Morales" for brand synergy) are permitted, he must still conceivably be part of the "Spider Family" (e.g. the part of Marvel's narrative stable built around Spider-Man)
>You cannot kill yourself.
Any success in the run results in significant profits for you as well, alongside the positive perception from "fixing" Miles.
What is your plan?
