This fucking website has got to be the most insidious grift out there. Once it gets its hooks into you, it becomes impossible to enjoy any game without having some form of external reward. Fun stops being the priority, and instead you begin to see everything as checklists. But that's not the shitty part... No, what REALLY sucks is that it proves from an objective standpoint that most people are actually pretty terrible at games, or stick to the same few genres and refuse to branch out. It shows in a very cynical manner that gaming is way too broad of a hobby, and that you're probably the weird one for bothering to actually master games you like instead of just using them as accessories to your personality.
