How do we go about equalising the playing field between SoloQ and SWF?
Killers often cry out for SWF nerfs, while Solos scream to be buffed.
I think the best way to do this would be to buff Survivor information, in a similar way of the Action HUD.
Of course, people could ignore it the way people ignore action HUD and still hide when someone else is in chase, but progress would be progress.
Picrel is a current lobby, as a soloQ survivor. We have the following information given:
>Our character
>Our build
>Dwight has no cosmetics used
>Dwight has a medkit that is not from the event
>Taurie 04 is at least Prestige 6
>Taurie 04 has a medkit of non-event quality
>Ada wong is at least Prestig 6
>The small little tiny highlighted bit is entirely useless space that has no reason to exist the way it is
If I were in a SWF with them, I would know all their medkits, all their perks and all their prestige levels. So why not even the playing field and allow survivors to pick between the 7 builds in order to fit into a team? Ada is using Inner strength too? Cool! I'll switch to Plot Twist for my selfheal. Dwight's on Bond? Wonderful, I'll switch to my Open Handed build with Kindred for easy Killerspotting. Taurie has Shoulder the Burden? Amazing, I shall bring a shitdick and loop the killer, to hopefully be tunneled so she can use it.
The bottom of Picrel is my thouhgt on the matter. A lot less wasted screenspace and more information to equalize your possibilities.
