About the same performance, but more efficient.
I'd say AMD T14 G3/4 is enough for modern titles on highest settings in FHD.
But any thin laptop is much worse cooling-wise than an eGPU.
So either get a P15/17, if you don't mind the off-center keyboard or a nice and compact intel T14/X13 with an ebay GPU and dock.
