Kinda like how the trailers for Sinners only showed the action-horror elements, when the film is actually as schizophrenic drama/crime film with occasional horror elements and one completely gratuitous shootout near the end.
If people actually knew what they were getting into with these films, they wouldn't have gone to see them, hence why the marketers lie about the content of the film.
