games did not look washed up and CRT's definitely helped bring those experiences to life
i miss the sheer amount of originality, and how unique each system was, just looking at the bios felt so real, a work of passion, instead of a roku box multimedia device.
even though corparate greet was definitely there, it still did not have such a hold on the industry yet...
gaming has not been the same since then.
