if you mean dnd, whenever i play dungeon master i kinda make things up in the moment. if a fight is going a lot smoother than what i planned, i make up something on the fly that makes it harder, like a new monster joining or smth like that. tho i guess its harder to do when you play irl.

yes, it does in the present. but afterwards when you look back at it, it won't feel that way. at least i think so, maybe im just getting gaslighted but thinking about it the months where i did stuff like travelling felt longer than the ones where i did nothing but rot.
