I played one once as a a dwarf who was the castellan of his fort. Loaded up with all the defensive spells. Dropped down Guards and wards, Snare and Glyph of warding in a defensive scenario, was the most bonkers power I've ever had as a player.

Theming an Anti-mage Abjurer as a mage Duelist from a magocracy environment however who specializes in the combat/sport of it all rather than any academic or esoteric pursuit would be sick and something I haven't seen before. Abjurer/Evoker/War on that one probably.
