Yes I make a mix for the base coat. The black is strong, and its usually 60% of the base coat, so it wont be too bright to beat the dark reaper highlight.
That said, I am 99% sure I am not doing it as efficiently as possible. I seem to use a very complex and annoying method for something simple to do.
If any other anons do off black regularly I am all ears on how they do it.
On pic rel you mayyy be able to see the thick dark reaper highlight on his tassels and arms, but I'm probably overworking on something that's not even visible.
Dribrushing thunderhawk is probably not a bad idea if you clean it up after.
