As a game developer there's no reason not to support it unless you're a greedy asshole. Pirate software is a furfag nepobaby who is currently publishing a live service game so obviously he's against it.
As a gamer you'd have to be a cuckold or a retard to not support it but, you know, gamers -are- retarded pigs. Its their fault always online crap took off in the first place. Movie companies tried pushing dvds on people that expired after a couple watches and they failed because people rejected them. Streaming is almost as bad as online only games but even you can still pirate stream only shows and movies. Without reverse engineering pirating can't even save a game if it requires connection to a server.
