Why is Ichijou so based...? Her views are completely correct so why does the game feel the need to go so far out of its way to act like her ideals are a joke. Doshin was an utter scumbag and was allowed to act that way for decades. If others turned a blind eye to his actions cause it benefited them personally then they have no right to complain when his actions came back to bite him.
