Genndy Tartakovsky only ever hits a wall when he's dealing with time paradoxes, and Unicorn was his most ambitious cartoon yet from a narrative standpoint. I'm all for the guy getting to make more original ideas rather than digging up his past projects, but he just needs to work to his strengths (action, tonal suspense, slapstick humor, etc.) and try COLLABORATING with seasoned writers who can actually make sense of his vague concepts if they're any more convoluted than your typical "cat & mouse chase."
