So the WRE AI will defend Iberia after 400 A.D. at some point.
While they did not wall Carthago Nova and Tarraconesis with perma stacks they let their capital die.
So it's still get their early or take from whoever takes it while they are away attacking WRE Africa or whatever else is left.
It's just stupid to abandon Rome and the peninsula because a small fleet can pick off hordes all day. The place is a death trap to invaders without owning cities due to all the river crossings and mountains.
The screenshot shows a test run while Subei got to Elusa first making a liberated Septimania not Vienna, it still shows the AI abandons Rome.
If they are going to pin Legions to zones, put a half stack on the garrison by Alamans, that alone can hold off 2 1/2 stacks if even only killing half of them, and its cheap. A half stack and a small fleet in Venice would be more realistic than a perma stack in Tarraco.
Just my opinion, the catharsis of the purges from Attila no longer do it for me. Back to Troy or ToB.
