The early episodes had the best dynamic. The focus should have always been the mane 6. You can always add a character or 2 extra, but they should always be minor or one episode off. It will make sure no one overstay their welcome. Flawless and Trixie were great, then they just keep showing up again...then again....and again..then they ruin the mane 6 dynamic and you brush them aside. Heck the original gay love triangle was fine when they were sprinkled in as a B plot. If you want to make a movie about the trio, sure okay but make sure that's the finale and closes their story, but nooo screw that. Then you eventually end up where we are and the future looks grim.
