up from my nap, dreamed but don't remember, got a bonus important phone call right as i awoke and it took all my attention, it went pretty well, not perfect, but better than i'd hoped. family stuff. big deal. still have another one to do later today and i'm really nervous about it, but that was good practice and a solid start.

but actually that reminds me of something i was thinking about. babe, you're so young you gotta realize, you've spent the vast majority of your life in school, which is a lot like prison, cliquey and racial, and i imagine moreso down where you live. real life is nothing at all like that. i can see how you still think in us vs them our team vs their team kinda stuff, still be mad about unfair treatment. and i don't know what all happened to you to make you this way but your future will be so much different from your past, and you will not face the same struggles that you've built your old self up to face, won't need the same defenses. you've already improved a lot don't take this as criticism and notice i did not ask you to change a thing, just take a look at things from a different perspective. the road ahead of you is brand new, whatever path you choose.
