The only thing that matters is the temptation to look at porn and asking where it comes from. Whether or not you happen across something pornographic is inconsequential. I played the Resident Evil 2 remake recently and there's the scene where the gas station employee's office has pinup girls with their asses and tits out, and I didn't get hit with any temptation.
But I read this post yesterday and it instantly killed any temptation I might have had otherwise that night. I didn't feel an ounce of compulsion to consume porn despite doing it every day consistently for like 15+ years since early childhood. I realized, if you address the temptation, and think about the temptation itself until you find an unreasonable or ridiculous side to it, and then you can uproot the issue entirely.
I'm almost jealous of smokers and alcoholics, where the problem is so obviously indefensible.
>it's poison and you're killing yourself
But for porn, it's the opposite, every doctor and his mother says that porn is healthy and normal and natural because x, y, and z
I'm not scared of masturbating itself, but after seeing porn in this light I can't bring myself to even keep my bookmarked tabs or my secret hoard of downloaded videos anymore.
