Nah, I wouldn't say so. He is forced and kinda annoying too but at least their excuse is often a time skip where Batman, a regular human being is just too old to do his thing.
Miles is just there to be the Spider-Man while Peter is also Spider-Man but he keeps getting shit on and getting shit on way worse than the last 3 decades somehow which is saying something. Oh and Miles just straight up has retarded superpowers that take away from the wonder and uniqueness of the whole Spider-Man schtick without being a spin-off dedicated to ideas like this, for example like with Miguel O'hara
