Hey Rice! Terra Anon back and thank you for the Winifred story! I'll be honest I kind of actually like your interpretation of these characters far better than Fennahs since they're not constantly swearing all the time or talking about how stupid humans are.
Anyways today I would like to request a 40k story about a guardsmen being tasked to scout a battleship that has gone silent and is suspected to have Tyrannids on board and while he's being briefed, he can't help but notice several assassins and space marines both from different respective temples and chapters standing behind the inquisitor which means that his job has a near 0% chance of survival, but such is the life of a guardsmen, so he begins to stuff about a dozen grenades in his bag before he departs because if he dies then he might as well go out with a bang. Before he leaves he find the assassins, inquisitor, and space marines saluting at him which confirm his suspicions that he's basically being sent to die. As he arrives the first thing that he notices is the acidic smell in the air which is so strong that he starts coughing on the spot, he quickly gets his bearings and presses on. As he investigates he starts finding crew members torn to shreds and dead Tyrannids shot by lasguns, but then he finds the brutalized remains of Tyrannids on the bridge which makes him stop to think what the hell could have done this? His thoughts are then interrupted by the sound of something big running from a corridor and then finds a Carnifex charging at him. With only a few seconds the think, the guardsmen has an idea and throws his backpack in the middle of the Carnifexes path and prepares his lasgun and as soon as the oversized Tyrannid runs over the backpack he shoots it, causing all the grenades inside to explode tearing apart the Carnifexes stomach and splitting it in half. The mc couldn't believe that he took down a Carnifex on his own.
