It's basically the same. Kinda short common route, then you start the first route, beat it, select the next route from the main menu, repeat. There are choices but they're either minor scene variations or lead to bad ends. It's not quite kinetic but it's close.

Rune Lord is kinda odd because the giant prologue introduces 40+ characters and then MC gets isekai'd and all the characters are replaced by a different cast.
I wonder if he's isekai'd to a different world on every route, then the true route combines them.
