the game actually outsold the mainline crash 4 game and is still doing pretty well compared to most other kart racing games (though not as big as mariokart obviously). There's still a decent amount of people buying and playing this game. The biggest reason it dropped off in popularity wasn't because the gameplay was bad, but because Activation forced the studio supporting it to stop and go work on CoD instead.
