It's a shame. As someone who started out as an independent 15 years go, my mix was about 50/50 dems and Republicans. I was split between Obama and McCain. Now, the last Republican I voted for was Gov. Hogan. It's almost straight blue on the ticket, because the entire party seems to actively hate science. We are literally destroying science satellites we just put up, out of pure spite.
