Graphics aren't necessarily important if you have a charming aesthetic. This game does not have that.
Performance however, is absolutely important when it affects the actual playing of the game. The fact that these rather simplistic "gameplay elements" push the brand new $500 system to it's knees only speaks to the incompetence of Nintendo.
