It’s like you people purposely don’t want to understand how this work. You can put all the hearing protection you want on. Razors+earplugs then duct tape your whole head. It caps out at 34 db and normally this is fine if you’re outdoors or using suppressors. However when Adrian with his 12 gauge shows up at the indoor range you are still getting hearing damage but dropped below the threshold of pain. It makes a difference in the long term not just one visit but tens or hundreds of visits
