I have been on steam for 18 years

- every single game I've ever purchased is still in my account and can still be downloaded and played, it doesn't matter if it has compatability problems with modern windows where I need to fix it myself, I can still download all of my games I've ever owned
- this includes games that don't even have store pages anymore because they were removed so long ago like Chronicles of Riddick
- games that were removed from steam but had cloud saves still have working cloud saves
- I have never been banned or got a nasty email
- I've never had a phishing attempt that wasn't an obvious third world retard that I simply replied "suck my cock faggot" and blocked them
- using steam is free
- I can install my games on literally any device that can run steam, steam doesn't care and will never try to stop me from downloading anything even if the hardware isn't "supposed" to run it
- I can plug in literally any controller and make it work natively through steam

I feel like I could go on forever, but most of the above CANNOT apply to console gaming. Steam has literally never burned me a single time, ever.

Ask a console gamer how much money they have to spend to just change their fucking PSN/XBL username, let alone how they can compete with any of the above.
