I feel that a lot of people are just easily swayed when a piece of media tells them something.
Kratos from God of War I think is a huge enigma in this sort of thing because he literally kills thousands before becoming God of War, kills probably tens of thousands when God of War, and then immediately floods Greece when waging war with Zeus, killing millions in collateral almost immediately.
And then people think that his recent trials in the Norse Realms washes that away? That somehow he's more nuanced? That he deserves any good or self-forgiveness because of it?
Like I dunno dude, shit just seems fucking baffling, is it because he's a fucking dad again? Is that the fucking secret to making someone likable to the masses, by making them a god damn dad?
